The Morning After....

Good morning to all! I just got off the phone with Lisa and she is doing so well! Last night she had a little pain, and her meds were able to take care of all of it. I asked how she was feeling and how all of it went...She's feeling very well and optimistic. She said that her nurse was a Christian and was so compassionate with her before she went into surgery. Her doctor also mentioned that she must be 'someone very important, because I was called especially to come to another hospital for her..." .

God is just SO good. Lisa will be going home in the next hour or two. Please pray for her as she begins this journey to reconstruction and recovery.

Lisa said that she definitley could feel the prayers of all of you--and is convinced that your prayers are what made the difference. Thank you for your faithfulness in that. Please continue praying...

With gratitude,
Candice

PRAISE THE LORD, PRAISE THE LORD, PRAISE THE LORD! All day yesterday I was singing "Whose report will we believe. We will believe in the report of the Lord." The report was GOOOOOD. I am so excited and happy to hear everything went well. Thanks so much for your blog keeping us in touch. We love you and your family very much. We continue to lift you all up and watch God's mighty hand do His miracles.

Hugs,
Cheryl & Bobby

My cousin, who is a SURVIVOR, is keeping me posted as to what you will, and are going through. She said the best medication is to keep laughter in your heart even through the most difficult times.

How do you make God laugh? Tell Him your plans.

Cancer is so limited.
It cannot cripple love.
It cannot shatter hope.
It cannot corrode faith.
It cannot eat away peace.
It cannot destroy confidence.
It cannot kill friendship.
It cannot shut out memories.
It cannot silence courage.
It cannot invade the soul.
It cannot reduce eternal life.
It cannot quench the Spirit.
It cannot lessen the power of the resurrection.
